Deeper Integration with Canvas and Schoology
TCI’s integrations with learning management systems are getting better. With updates to Canvas and Schoology integrations, grading and classroom management will be easier than ever.
Canvas LTI 1.3 Beta Program: TCI’s new Canvas LTI 1.3 integration is here. With automatic grade syncing and other time-saving features, this integration will take your Canvas experience to the next level. Join the beta program to access the latest features.
Schoology LTI 1.3: TCI offers LTI 1.3 integrations for Schoology as well. This update includes automatic grade syncing between TCI and Schoology, saving you time and effort. If you haven’t already, upgrade to LTI 1.3 before we retire LTI 1.1 at the end of 2024.
Changes Inspired by TCI Teachers
Your feedback is instrumental to TCI. We are grateful for teachers who share feedback, lobby for new features, and take the time to help make TCI better. Here are a few features that were inspired by the TCI teacher community.
Print Student Assessment Work: This feature allows you to print student tests with answers. You can save the test as a PDF to share digitally with parents or print it on paper to send home with students.
Smoother Assessments with Question Groups: Want to ask a series of questions about a graph or primary source in an assessment? When you build assessments, you will be able to group questions together with interesting stimuli. Question groups will stay together when assessments are randomized.
New Grading Features: In case you missed it, explore the new features that make grading more efficient and intuitive. New Bulk Grading allows you to spot-check student work, giving a single grade and adjusting as needed. Additionally, the new ✅ and ❌ buttons allow you to give full or no credit quickly.
Savable, Assignable, and Gradable Reading Checks: Reading Checks, which provide real-time feedback at the end of reading sections, have been updated. The key changes include saved answers, scores on the Grades page, and Spanish translations.
Assigning Slideshows by Slide Group: Looking to assign specific parts of a slideshow? You can now easily select and assign just the Preview or vocabulary slides to students with the new slide groups.
