How to Be a Friend by Laurie Krasny Brown. This “guide to making and keeping friends” deals with important social issues such as shyness, bullying, ways to be friendly, and conflict resolution.

We Are All Alike, We Are All Different by the Cheltenham Elementary School Kindergartners. Using some of the children’s original drawings and words, one kindergarten class shares the ways they look, the ways they feel, the foods they like, the games they play, and details of their families and homes, demonstrating the many ways children are alike and different.
