Organize Your Web 2.0 Tools with Symbaloo

Think this like an iPad-type layout for all your web tools.

I will admit it.  I am a complete web 2.0 junkie.  My favorites folder on Internet Explorer has a sub-folder of about 50 sites that I have tried or dabbled as part of my quest to find apps that can be meaningfully integrated with our approach to teaching.  Though my wife might disagree, I don’t like clutter.  As more and more sites are added to my favorites, it’s making me feel a little cluttered.  Thankfully, I came across www.symbaloo.com on Twitter and now feel like I’ve found religion when it comes to de-cluttering my web 2.0 apps.

The site is really simple in its use.  It takes all the sites you use on a regular basis and creates an interface similar to the screen of an iPhone/Pad or Droid device.  The little squares are quick links to the sites and are completely customizable.  Now, I did have to pare down my list of apps a little…but that’s okay.  I’ve still got that huge folder in my Internet Explorer as a back up!

Now, if you want to save yourself the time of setting up the perfect Symbaloo web mix…just click on the picture to the right.  You’ll have access to all your favorite TCI links and a smorgasbord of web tools that are favorites of our crew.
